WEEKEND OUT IN THE TUA RIVER – November 1st and 2nd

GEOTA and the Youth Association Tamecanos, in partnership with the Platform Save the Tua and the Canoeing Club Águas Bravas de Portugal have organized another weekend in the Tua River.

Several activities were organized to show the enormous value of the Tua Valley and Douro.

To save one of the last natural rivers in Portugal and to prevent the construction of the dam we must live for it and to show that it is possible another kind of development, based on tourism, regional products, hospitality and knowledges of whom lives there.

This was one of that chances.
